Honor Flight

Dear Township Residents:

As a Township in the region around Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Springfield Air National Guard Base, I wanted to reach out to you regarding the upcoming OPERATION HONOR flight on 21 September 2025.

As was reported in this recent Dayton Daily News article (https://www.daytondailynews.com/local/new-honor-flight-may-draw-national-act-to-wpafb/6VNIQPLUXFGNPDBUZQJ3D7MEOY/), the next Honor Flight Dayton – possibly one of the last flights out of Dayton – will fly 150 veterans out of WPAFB on two C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.  OPERATION HONOR will conclude with the arrival of the two C-17s and a monumental salute to the veterans’ arrival later that evening.

We are reaching out to all communities in the Greater Dayton/Miami Valley region to let their local companies and organizations know about this opportunity to be a part of the recognition and celebration of current Airmen and Veterans by supporting OPERATION HONOR.  Please forward this information to companies and organizations in your community.
