Miami County is
inviting residents, property owners, businesses and
other community stakeholders to review and provide
feedback on a proposed update to the County’s Zoning
Resolution.
The draft Zoning
Resolution was developed using public input gathered
during Miami County’s recent Comprehensive Plan Update
process. Working with the project steering committee and
planning consultants McBride Dale Clarion, the County
has translated the goals and recommendations of the
Comprehensive Plan into proposed zoning regulations
designed to help guide future growth and development.
The updated Zoning
Resolution will serve as an important tool for
implementing the Comprehensive Plan and shaping
development throughout Miami County for years to come.
The public can review the

County Representatives
Available at Miami County Fair
Residents will also have an
opportunity to learn more about the proposed changes and
speak directly with representatives from the Miami
County Department of Development during the 2026 Miami
County Fair.
Department
representatives will be available at the
Conservation Education Building
on:
- Friday, August 14 — 1:00 to 4:00
p.m.
- Monday, August 17 — 1:00 to 4:00
p.m.
- Wednesday, August 19 — 1:00 to
4:00 p.m.
County representatives
will be available to answer questions, provide materials
and discuss the proposed zoning updates with members of
the public.
Community participation
is encouraged as the County moves through the review
process. Residents and stakeholders are also encouraged
to share information about the draft with others who may
have an interest in the future development of Miami
County.
